External Hemorrhoid Home Treatment?
Friday, February 19th, 2010I heard that if you have an external hemorrhoid you may possibly try to push it back in. Has anyone ever tried this? Or is this a terrible thought?

I heard that if you have an external hemorrhoid you may possibly try to push it back in. Has anyone ever tried this? Or is this a terrible thought?
Mail this post i’m a surgical intern and hemorrhoids are one of the most common things i treat. a hemorrhoid banding is a small procedure which uses a surgical rubber band to place it around the hemorrhoid. after a week or so, the band will fall off with the rest of the hemorrhoid.
this is less painful that really making an incision. most of our patients are in extreme pain even even if local anestetics are used.
even if the thing is, most surgeons including for myself perfer the method of using an incision because it is more powerful. and for external hemorrhoids i do not band.
best of luck~
Mail this post What are the over the counteract topicals or ointments that shrink external hemorrhoids??
Mail this post Can I use a needle to lance/pop a thrombosed external hemorrhoid for myself? Or will the emergency room doctor do it? I am out of town so can’t see my family doctor and can’t wait until I go home next week.
Mail this post Not for me, but a (significant other) female who has had one for 2 1/2 years ever in view of the fact that she was pregnant. Doctor won’t help her, he just says use training H. We want it to go away, as this prevents some bonus bedroom fun that she and I delight in, and we feel we are missing out.
Mail this post Because I heard that when an applicant nurse is on medical processing already, accordingly, if she has a hemorrhoid, that will hinder passing the physical examination required.
