That depends on how huge the hemorrhoid is. Most will retreat with OTC provision, step one. Then she might need to see her Physician get some stronger provision, step 2. Surgery is step 3. I do not know if your Aunt has family, as this can be one of the problems of giving birth. Therefore she might of have hemorrhoids for years and now they are starting to cause problems. Excellent Luck

I would say to try first with untreated treatment like Rue Care Oil – it also helped in very honest cases of hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids usually don’t just go away. The symptoms can disappear from time to time – depends on the cause of hemorrhoid. But, the swollen, inflamed vein is soothe there, and needs treatment. Many times the symptoms disappear (pain, itching, bleeding), and the hemorrhoid is just “sitting quite”, waiting to be triggered by something, like hot (piquant) food, hard stool, just to break out in a much larger form than it was in the first place.
It is also vital to figure out what is causing the hemorrhoid (constipation, hefty, acid/alkaline imbalance, sitting/standing for extended periods of time, Vitamin B6 deficiency, prickly bowel syndrome, fatigue liver..) and treat this as well.
